To celebrate Volunteer Week earlier in June, all of our wonderful Rawmarsh volunteers, friends and families came together for a well-deserved afternoon tea ☕️
It was a lovely opportunity to say thank you, share time together, and recognise the amazing effort and commitment shown throughout the year.
Volunteer Spotlight 🌟
Ali has been part of the RaFB team for some time now, working within our café team where she brings a warm and friendly welcome to many of our visitors. She is always ready for a chat and more than happy to listen, support and signpost where needed.
Ali is also a valued weekly core team member, working across both Team Heroes and Champions. We really appreciate the role she plays across the service and want to say a huge thank you for everything she contributes.
Tesco Pre-Packed Donation Bags 🛒

Tesco are offering pre-packed donation bags this summer to make it easier for customers to support local families and food banks.
Each bag contains essential food items and can be added directly to your shop at the checkout.
These donations help support households facing increased pressure during the school holidays, when food costs can rise.
A simple purchase can make a real difference to someone in need. 💚
Just Meals 🍽️
A reminder our Just Meals hub is open every Wednesday, 11:30am–12:15pm at the Drop-In Centre Coffee Morning, and Thursdays 4:30pm–6:00pm at RaFB.
Frozen meals are available for a minimum donation of £1.
Just Meals are environmentally friendly ready meals made by Food Works Sheffield, using quality surplus and locally grown ingredients. Meals are frozen on site to lock in flavour and quality while helping to reduce food waste.
They come in 100% biodegradable, home-compostable packaging and can be heated at home in the microwave or oven, offering a convenient and sustainable meal option.
Meal categories:
🔵 Blue – No dietary restrictions
🟢 Green – Vegetarian
🟣 Purple – Vegan
🟠 Orange – Vegan Low Allergen
