Thank You for Your Support 🛍️
A huge thank you to everyone who responded to our recent request for strong, reusable bags.
We’ve had a fantastic response, which has helped us overcome our initial shortage and ensures our clients can safely carry their food parcels home, especially those who walk to our sessions.
We are incredibly grateful for your support… and please do keep them coming! 💛

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Vicki
This month, we’re delighted to shine the spotlight on Vicki.
Vicki joined us in 2025 as part of our Team Champions and has become a valued member of the RaFB team. She is hugely invested in the work we do, always offering a warm and friendly welcome to our clients.
Vicki also uses her excellent signposting skills to ensure people receive the wider support they need beyond their food parcel.
Thank you, Vicki, for your dedication and commitment; you make a real difference to both our clients and the whole RaFB team. 💛

Just Meals at The Drop In Centre
Our Just Meals launch on 11th March was a huge success, with ten partner agencies attending and getting the opportunity to taste the meals. The feedback so far has been incredibly positive!
The Just Meals freezer is now open every Wednesday from 11:30am–12:30pm at The Drop In Centre Coffee Morning.
Why not pop in for a coffee and pick up a Just Meal while you’re there?
With a minimum donation of just £1, they are an affordable, convenient, and sustainable option for our community.

Acts 435 Visit 🤝
During March we had the awesome privilege of welcoming Nathan from Acts 435 team join us .
If you haven’t already heard Acts 435 is an online giving charity directly connecting those who want to give with those who are in genuine need of their help, through a network of local churches and charities.
Here at RaFB we work in partnership with them and to date have been able to help serval clients with needs beyond their emergency food parcel . One client had nothing and was eating with a teaspoon and had one bowl. Through the generosity of Acts 435 donors we were able to purchase a set of pan, cutlery and crockery.
Nathan visited to see our work in action and capture what we do here at RaFB.
Keep an eye on our social media channels, we’ll be sharing the final version soon! 🎥

Thank You 💛
